Banzai Surf School is a family run business and one of the few NSSIA accredited surf schools in Huntington Beach. We are legally permitted, operating in partnership with the State of California DPR. Open year-round, we provide experienced instructors, surfboards, wetsuits, and all the sand you can eat.
Banzai is conveniently located in Orange County, California, at Pacific Coast Highway and Brookhurst Street, just over the bridge from Newport Beach. This is one of the cleanest most un-crowded stretches of sand, and probably the easiest beginner surfing spot in Huntington Beach. We frequently see dolphins playing just outside the surfing area!
We use safe, high quality soft type surfboards and premium wetsuits. We offer week-long summer surf camps, or a two-hour session in our private or group lessons. We specialize in large company parties and group surfing events. The best part is, you never have to stand in line for the rides.
